About BNCBuie, Norman & Company, P.A. began in 1974 by founding partners John G. Buie, Jr. and Robert D. Norman. Larry L. Bass, Jr., partner, joined the firm in 1979. Our firm operates under a “working partner” approach. This approach ensures each client has direct access to the engagement partner. Quality Control Programs & Peer ReviewBuie, Norman & Company maintains membership for all certified professionals in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA). We practice under an AICPA-recognized quality control program. Professional StandardsIndependence, objectivity, and confidentially are requisites of a CPA firm. All Buie, Norman & Company personnel are required to exercise complete confidentially and to observe the independence rules of the Code of Professional Conduct of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
