Buie, Norman & Company,PA is a full-service, local CPA firm established in 1972 and located in Fayetteville, NC. Our areas of practice include a full range of accounting and consulting services to a diverse clientele. Our objective is to provide quality service in a timely manner through professional and personal contact.

At Buie, Norman & Company we consider our clients as our most important asset. Our firm  operates under a "working partner" approach. This ensures each client direct access to the particular partner in charge of a specific engagement. Our engagement teams are hand-picked for their balanced understanding of the challenges inherent to the individual client's specific industry and its operation. Our staff is dedicated to serving each client in its unique marketplace. We strive to go beyond the ordinary accounting and tax roles by serving as consultants and advisors in a number of areas.

Our diverse client list is includes individuals, corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships, estates and trusts, not-for-profit organizations, and governmental units.

All members of our professional staff are Certified Public Accountants. They are dedicated individuals who bring a wealth of experience to the firm. The paraprofessionals on our support staff are generally assigned to work on-going with specific professionals on specific engagements. This coupled with low turnover among the professional and paraprofessional staff provides clients with a continuity of service providers.

Quality Control Programs & Peer review

Buie, Norman & Company maintains membership for all certified professionals in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA). We practice under an AICPA-recongnized quality control program. Since the introduction of the voluntary participation in Peer Review, Buie, Norman & Company has successfully completed the criterion of review conducted on a regular basis under the directives of the AICPA.

Professional Standards

Independence, objectivity, and confidentially are requisites of a CPA firm. All Buie, Norman & Company personnal are required to exercise complete confidentially and to observe the independence rules of the Code of Professional Conduct of the American Institute of Certified Public Accoutants.

Professional Development and Continuing Professional Education

To support and enhance our ability to serve the needs of all types of clients, company personnel participate in various conferences and seminars on such varied topics as accounting, auditing, taxation, technology, and management services. These course are designed to update personnel in all areas of services offered.
